<p>Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant is as follows:</p>
<li>Manage accounting transactions</li>
<li>Prepare budget & forecasts</li>
<li>Publish financial statements</li>
<li>Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings</li>
<li>Reconcile accounts payable and receivable</li>
<li>Ensure timely bank payments</li>
<li>Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements</li>
<li>Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity</li>
<li>Audit financial transactions and documents</li>
<li>Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary</li>
<li>Comply with financial policies and regulations</li> <p>TMGNY</p> <p><p><b>Job Requirements:</b></p></p> <li>Minimum 4-5+ years of accounting experience in service-related industry</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)</li>
<li>Advanced MS Excel skills </li>
<li>Experience with general ledger functions</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and analytical skills</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite preferred, but not required</li>
<li>Be able to perform effectively as a team member, while working independently to meet goals and deadlines</li> Apply
