The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. This role will involve supplier quality management, contract negotiation, cost control and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet operational and strategic goals.Qualifications:
Bilingual in Mandarin is a definite assetMust have purchasing experience and be able to read manufacturing drawingsFormal college or university educationDemonstrated experience managing suppliers, performance and developing long-term relationshipsExperience in Metal fabrication, surface finishes, and custom manufacturing environmentHighly organized, creative and self-motivatedExcellent verbal and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute RFQs/RFPsSource, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet quality, cost, and the delivery objectivesCollaborate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and Finance to align purchasing strategies with operational needsNegotiate contacts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliersMonitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or serviceIdentify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiativesPerform daily reviews of purchase requests and the inventory management system, ensuring purchase orders are issued in a timely mannerEnsure all activities comply with company policies, established purchasing processes, and quality management workflowsOther duties as requiredHere are some of the perks that our Amico employees receive:
