Senior Guidewire Developer

Position: Contract

Duration: 2 months (possibility of extension)

Location: Remote, working for a Saskatchewan client (must adhere to Sask business hours, Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM CST)

Position Overview

Hammehr invites applications for the role of Senior Guidewire Developer on behalf of our client for a 2-month contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. In this role, you will optimize and enhance Guidewire DataHub implementations to improve data management systems.

What You’ll Do

• Leverage your deep knowledge of Guidewire DataHub to improve and enhance data models and infrastructures
• Assess and refine existing DataHub extensions to align with client’s needs and standards
• Propose solutions to optimize data system functionalities
• Ensure compliance with established naming and documentation standards to maintain system integrity
• Provide insights and recommendations to refine the implementation of DataHub integrations

Basic Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Guidewire development, with the ability to navigate and optimize sophisticated Guidewire setups
• Strong understanding of DataHub concepts and integration within complex GuideWire systems
• Experience with DataHub-related code and technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Problem-solving ability to identify issues and craft effective solutions.
• Strong ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to a non-technical audience
• Attention to detail approach to reviewing DataHub configurations and documentation
