About Us

We are a workforce technology company focused on delivering intuitive payroll and workforce management solutions that streamline operations for organizations across Canada. Recognized as an industry leader, our mission is to provide software that simplifies complex payroll processes while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Payroll Implementation Specialist to lead client implementations, resolve complex payroll issues, and strengthen the skills of our internal support team. This position requires deep expertise in Canadian payroll operations, with strong knowledge of compliance and system configuration.

Beyond implementations, you will also serve as a subject matter expert, offering feedback that helps influence future product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Implementation Leadership

  • Manage the full cycle of payroll implementation projects for new clients.
  • Configure payroll rules, accruals, and workflows tailored to organizational policies and agreements.
  • Deliver client training and ensure seamless go-live experiences.
  • Contribute to process documentation and best practices.

2. Advanced Payroll Support

  • Act as an escalation point for complex payroll and compliance issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve exceptions such as retroactive pay, special accruals, or unionized agreement rules.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent client outcomes.

3. Training & Internal Enablement

  • Upskill support staff by delivering training on payroll processes and system functionality.
  • Develop internal knowledge base articles, process documentation, and workflows.

4. Broader Workforce Solution Support

  • Gain proficiency across the full workforce management suite (time, attendance, HRIS, scheduling).
  • Provide support for integrated implementations when payroll intersects with broader systems.
  • Ensure payroll configuration aligns seamlessly with overall workforce operations.

5. Product Advisory & Feedback

  • Share insights from implementations to guide product enhancements.
  • Participate in design reviews, helping ensure payroll features are accurate, compliant, and user-friendly.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Canadian payroll solutions across diverse environments.
  • PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation strongly preferred; CPM or other certifications an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, configuration, and exceptions such as shift premiums, retro pay, or collective agreements.
  • Experience with workforce or payroll software solutions (vendor or internal system implementation).
  • Excellent communication and training skills for both clients and internal teams.
  • Flexibility to support projects across workforce management domains in addition to payroll.
