Propak Systems Ltd., an established leader in engineering, fabrication and construction of gas compression, processing and Heavy Oil facilities, is currently seeking a Ship Loose Material Handler. Reporting to the Shipping Lead Hand, this position is responsible for the collecting, packaging, documenting, and shipping of ship loose material to our customers’ site locations. This involves coordination with multiple Propak departments in order to ensure all material needing to be shipped loose is obtained and sent to site, with all necessary documentation, based on the project timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and document ship loose material by job lots in preparation for shipping;
  • Compile ship loose bin checks for material;
  • Action MRA material dispositions from engineering and coordinate with other departments as required;
  • Pack ship loose material into crates for shipping;
  • Collect pictures and all documentation for shipping purposes;
  • Organize and record shipments using job information, crate #, WH #, etc.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Oil and gas industry warehousing experience
  • Basic knowledge of materials used in the construction of oil and gas plants
  • Familiarity with warehouse software
  • Experience with the use and maintenance of basic hand and power tools
  • Experience and license for forklift operation is an asset
