Through a rich exchange of ideas, meaningful collaboration, and a nimble operating model, we're powering some of the nation's most critical systems, fueling capital formation and innovation, bringing increased opportunity to business visionaries, product ingenuity to consumers, and career exploration to our team.The Supervisor, Securities Transfer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring error free day-to-day operations of the group, providing guidance and support while communicating company goals, safety practices and deadlines to the team with strict adherence to policies and procedures as well as liaising between Securities Transfer and other internal or external parties.*****This role is fully in office (5 days/week) - based in Toronto, ON.*********Key Accountabilities:***** Supervise, lead, coach and develop team members* Monitor team performance, create and report on metrics* Delegate tasks, set team goals and deadlines* Oversight of department emails* Handling escalated matters from staff as well as internal and external parties* Review, update and create Desk Operating Procedures (DOP)* Perform spot checks on work performed by the team validating strict adherence to Policies and Procedures (P&P)* Monthly reporting on processing volume metrics for operations* Plan and execute DR and BCP protocols* Perform ongoing system testing as required* Assist with compiling data required for regulatory filings and obligations (TA-2 Reporting, SEC Lost Shareholder Search)* Act as backup to the Manager, in an operational capacity* Special Projects as required from Senior Management**Must Have (s):*** Minimum 10 years’ experience in the financial or securities industry* Minimum 5 year experience in a previous leadership roles* Strong experience in the securities industry as it relates to back-office administration* Strong skills in data collection and reporting as well as automations using Google/Excel* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effectively communicating with peers, senior management, internal and external stakeholders* Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously* Experience overseeing training plans for staff within the department* Experience analyzing staffing needs, employee development and goal setting* Excellent computer skills - MS Office Suite and Google suite of products and other desktop applications* A willingness and ability to adapt to a changing environment and responsibilities**In the market for…****Excitement** - Explore emerging technology and innovation, as well as ventures and digital finance that shape the future of global markets!
