Hereu2019s where youu2019ll be focusing: PRIMARY SHIFT: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6:30am - 4:30pm, but need to be flexible to work various days from 5am u2013 3pm, 1pm u2013 11pm or 9pm u2013 7am as required. Various shifts including evenings and weekends as we are a 7day/week 365 day per year operation u00b7 Supports Shunt and Delivery Operations at the Customer Fulfillment Centre u00b7 Leads daily shift huddles with teammates u00b7 Develops a high performing team; directs day-to day activities of teammates. u00b7 Provides performance feedback and coaching to teammates. u00b7 Partners with HR regarding disciplinary process u00b7 Drives team engagement, development, and retention by connecting team to the Voila vision, encouraging innovation, clear communication, and continuous feedback. u00b7 Embeds and sustains protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) u00b7 Actively participates in the recruitment of teammates. u00b7 Supports continuous improvement effort by utilizing operation feedback. u00b7 Partners with Training Specialist to deliver training content. u00b7 Accountable to ensure consistent standards and continuous learning. u00b7 Ensures teammates are up to date on training requirements u00b7 Ensures all teammates have current driver abstracts, valid licensing and monitors driver behavior. u00b7 Supports the Fleet Solutions Manager to ensure fleet availability and safety. u00b7 Accountable for supporting teammates achieve performance metrics u00b7 Follow and supports Sobeys Health and Safety practices u00b7 Adhere to and implement all applicable Food Safety program requirements. u00b7 General Understanding and adherence of Food Safety Policies or relevant Standard Operating Procedures such as General Health and Hygiene, Allergen Policy, Temperature Checks, etc. What you have to offer: u00b7 Minimum of 3-5 yearsu2019 experience in transportation and or logistics field including experience in a leadership role with a high focus on customer experience/satisfaction u00b7 Home Delivery experience & Shunt experience (business to customer) in an e-commerce environment an asset u00b7 Post-Secondary education in a business-related field u00b7 A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. u00b7 Strong knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation u00b7 Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities. u00b7 Experience in effectively managing a large team. u00b7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external parties. u00b7 Class 5 Driversu2019 License (non GDL), ability to Travel within the Alberta and willingness to travel outside of Alberta u00b7 Distribution facility experience We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package, which varies by role and designed to help our teammates to live better u2013 physically, financially and emotionally.
