We are not the direct employer.</p> <h3>Job Description</h3> <p>As a <strong>Systems/Application Support Specialist</strong>, you will play a key role in ensuring stability, availability, and performance of critical systems and applications. You will provide technical support, incident management, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality IT services that align with business needs.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Perform controlled resolution of incidents and problems, including prioritization and escalation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure applications/systems availability meets or exceeds service standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with stakeholders to schedule, package, and release new applications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor and maintain production environments to reduce operational risk.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide day-to-day support, including accurate problem identification and timely resolution.</p> </li> <li> <p>Deliver effective application/system support and maintain proper documentation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in change management and ensure smooth implementation of releases.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors when required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support disaster recovery planning and testing.</p> </li> <li> <p>Adhere to compliance, security, and operational standards.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate in IT or related field.</p> </li> <li> <p>35 years of relevant experience in systems/application support.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong knowledge of incident and change management processes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with application monitoring, troubleshooting, and system integration.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to manage workload, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Assets</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with production environment stability and performance monitoring.</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of scripting or automation tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Previous experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Compensation & Benefits</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Salary range: <strong>$65,600 $98,400 CAD annually</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p>37.5 hours per week.</p> </li> <li> <p>Overtime or shift premium opportunities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Benefits package (may include health, dental, and retirement plans).</p> </li> <li> <p>Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Recruitment Scope</h3> <p> <strong>For Local Candidates</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Apply directly without consultation fees.</p> </li> <li> <p>Standard screening and shortlisting process applies.</p> </li> </ul> <p> <strong>For International Candidates</strong><br> This recruiter also recruits international candidates for selected opportunities.
