<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Retro Cannabis is a Prince Edward Island based craft cannabis producer who began it's journey in 2021. From our inception, we have steadfastly committed ourselves to the pursuit of excellence, channeling our energy into the creation of Premium Craft Quality products. At the heart of Retro, lies a vision to redefine the Canadian cannabis industry leveraging Vintage Vibes and Modern Methods. Our product offerings are currently being sold into both provincial retail and private wholesale markets across Canada.</p><h3>Position</h3><p>We are in the search of a <b>Territory Sales Manager</b> to join our sales department. This individual will oversee and support growth in our Manitoba (MB) and Saskatchewan (SK) markets. This position would report to our Director of Sales and would work in conjunction with the rest of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT).</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Sales Strategy: Execute the company’s sales strategies within the assigned territory.</li><li>Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.</li><li>Estimate sales volume and profit margins for future periods.</li><li>Territory Management: Take ownership of the designated geographical area, overseeing all sales and business development activities within that region.</li><li>Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and future clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. Customer loyalty and education is paramount in the cannabis industry.</li><li>New Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, prospecting and converting leads into sales and/or new client relationships.</li><li>Product Knowledge and Training: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.</li><li>Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular sales reports, analyze sales data and provide insights to improve performance.</li><li>Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment in strategies , effective product launches and customer support.</li><li>Travel: Travel to different regions within the territory will be required. Additionally, travel outside of the territory to national events may be required as needed.</li><li>Provide feedback to SLT on industry trends for future sales strategies and product offerings.</li></ul><h3>Desired Skills</h3><ul><li>Outstanding communication and negotiation skills</li><li>Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach</li><li>Excellent organizational and problem solving skills</li><li>Time management</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Excel</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Education</h3><ul><li>Applicant must live in or within close proximity to any of the following major cities: Winnipeg, Regina, or Saskatoon</li><li>Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing and/or equivalent industry experience.</li><li>2+ yrs experience in sales and/or territorial sales.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.</li><li>Good understanding or willingness to learn Health Canada's cannabis regulations.</li><li>Experience in food manufacturing, and/or pharma related industries is considered an asset.</li><li>Experience working in a highly regulated industry is considered an asset.</li><li>Experience in the cannabis industry would be considered an asset.</li></ul><h3>Employment Details</h3><ul><li>Compensation range: $60,000-$80,000. Entire compensation package to be discussed in interview.</li><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Annual incentive opportunity - 15% of base salary, based on individual and company targets being achieved.</li><li>Car Allowance</li><li>Paid vacation, personal and sick days</li><li>Company laptop and cellphone plan provided</li><li>RRSP match program available after probation period</li><li>Health benefits available after probation period</li><li>Full-time position.
