One of the leading Mining Companies in Canada is seeking a Training Supervisor at their site. This position will be a Fly in, Fly out scheduling 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off. You will be responsible for supporting the Safety Director, in the development of new company-wide initiatives and associated training programs.
The Role:
- Act as a subject matter expert regarding any training concerns from all employees
- Develop, build, and conduct training – identifying any gaps or areas for improvement within the training program
- Working in the field with all levels of employees
- Support job-site project teams by providing technical support to resolve potential risks and issues
The Candidate:
- Certificate or Degree Technical Training, Learning & Development or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Mining and Training
- First Aid Certification and WCC Supervisor Certification
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with key internal & external stakeholders
- Must have experience leading teams
- Willing to work a rotational schedule
