Turnaround Coordinator

Agilus is recruiting for a Turnaround Coordinator in the Oil and Gas industry in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Join a dynamic team as a Turnaround Execution Coordinator, where you'll oversee the planning and execution of turnaround activities in a high-impact industrial environment. This role demands strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review detailed work packages and estimates
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure readiness and execution
• Monitor safety compliance and promote safe work practices
• Track progress and update schedules during all turnaround phases
• Resolve field issues and escalate concerns promptly
• Support operations during ramp-down and ramp-up phases
• Ensure proper documentation and closeout of work orders
• Participate in lessons learned and post-event evaluations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in turnaround or shutdown coordination
• Strong understanding of Alberta OH&S regulations
• Familiarity with Maximo, P6, and work package development
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead field teams and drive safety culture
• Skilled in estimating, scheduling, and resource planning
• Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Technical background in mechanical or industrial operations preferred
