Full Job Description - X-Ray/Medical Radiation Technologist <br /> DESCRIPTION : The Canadian Diagnostic Network (CDN) is Ottawa's trusted Radiology & Imaging services. Our focus centers on the patient and their family as we strive to meet their healthcare needs with personal attention and respect. Under the supervision of the Director(s) and Operations Coordinator(s), the x-ray technologist will be responsible for producing radiographs that provides maximum diagnostic information with the least amount of exposure to radiation, while providing maximum safety, privacy and confidentiality for the patient.<br />CDN is expanding in the Ottawa region, join our team now!<br /> BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: <br /> Successful completion of a recognized course in Medical Radiation Technology.<br /> Be an active member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).<br /> Possess liability insurance (e.G. OAMRS)<br /> Current CPR certification.<br /> Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.<br /> Intermediate proficiency in English, spoken and written. French is an asset.<br /> Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and courteously with all types of people.<br /> PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY AND ABILITIES (representative but not all inclusive):<br /> Must be able to work efficiently and independently.<br /> Ensure the proper functioning of the instruments and technical equipment.
