<p><p><b>Assistant Store Manager</b> – Dollarama</p>
<p>The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.</p>
<h3>Daily Tasks (but not limited to)</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.</li>
<li>Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.</li>
<li>Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.</li>
<li>Training, coaching, and developing employees.</li>
<li>Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.</li>
<li>Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.</li>
<li>Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.</li>
<li>Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.</li>
<li>Maintaining visual merchandising standards.</li>
<li>Responsible for hiring and performance management.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What Do You Need to Succeed?</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.</li>
<li>At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.</li>
<li>Open availability (day, evening, weekend).</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.</li>
