Our client has an immediate opening for Electrical Design Engineer Degree or Diploma preferred as well as min. 5 years’ experience in the Automation and Robotics industry. AutoCAD Electrical is a must Position is based out of our office in Burlington, Ontario.

Regular full-time working hours consist of 40 hours per week Mon. – Fri. and are determined by the departmental supervisors to meet organizational demands. Overtime maybe required on a project-to- project basis.

Position will require some traveling. (Canada US and Mexico) Valid passport and driver license is
required

Requirements

You will be part of the Electrical design / estimating department, implement standards, develop, and
expand on the current library.

· Responsible for the design of Electrical systems and devices using AutoCAD Electrical
· Developing and maintaining custom and standard designs
· Ensure designs meet industry standards and government/local code regulations
· Prepare technical documentation and user manuals
· Developing new standards and equipment
· Specifying purchased and manufactured equipment from outside suppliers. (mechanical)
· Procurement of material and equipment
· Ensuring times lines of purchased and manufactured equipment to me expected deliveries.
· Securing pricing of components for purchase
· Inconcepting of equipment and controls for quotation purposes.
· Securing pricing of components for the quotation process
· Supporting Sales department in onsite customer reviews and concept meetings.
· Assist Developing timelines and schedule for projects with other departments.
· Assist in keeping timelines for projects with production and purchasing.
· Onsite customer meetings
· Working with Microsoft project and excel for scheduling.

Experience:
 Automation and Robotics industry. AutoCAD Electrical : 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
 degree or diploma in electrical engineering (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
 50% (required)

Salary Range: Pay: CA$95,000.00-CA$110,000.00 per year
