<h3>Who can apply</h3>
<p>Canadian citizens or permanent residents living within a 125 km radius of the position. Applicants outside the radius may be considered if insufficient candidates. Indigenous community residents are encouraged to apply.</p>
<h3>Duties</h3>
<ul>
<li>Participate in the planning, organizing and supervision of census field operations for an assigned area.</li>
<li>Train and supervise a team of supervisors and coordinate their activities and those of their employees.</li>
<li>Participate in the monitoring, analysis and evaluation of field operations by reviewing activity reports.</li>
<li>Authorize employees’ weekly payment, expenses and allowances.</li>
<li>Monitor performance and productivity of staff and resolve collection, staff and pay issues.</li>
<li>Promote respondent participation in the census and participate in the implementation of regional communication strategies.</li>
<li>Respond to inquiries from the public.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other census employees, including FOSs, AMPs, RCs and MAs to resolve collection, processing, and pay issues.</li>
<li>Work closely with the REC and FOM to meet targets.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Conditions of employment</h3>

<li>Availability and willingness to travel occasionally as required.</li>
<li>Availability and willingness to work overtime as required.</li>
<li>Availability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.</li>
<li>Secure office space and a private area at home for confidential calls.</li>
<li>Reliable internet access at home.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Essential qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li><b>Education:</b> Secondary school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.</li>
<li><b>Experience managing a workload:</b> Delegating multiple tasks to meet deadlines.</li>
<li><b>Computer functions:</b> Sending and receiving emails, using word processing, spreadsheet, and slide‑show applications, and creating virtual meeting invites.</li>
<li><b>Large‑scale project experience:</b> Working in a project with competing deadlines and conflicting priorities.</li>
<li><b>Team supervision experience:</b> Assigning work and managing performance.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Availability</h3>
<p>Position status: AS-03 (Acting, Assignment, Deployment, Secondment, Specified period).
Salary: $73,798 to $79,511.</p>
