<p>.50 Custodial Aide (Evenings)<br><br>BULLETIN NUMBER: 849/M/25 DATE POSTED: December 2, 2025<br><br>SCHOOL: FRONTENAC SCHOOL<br><br>COMMENCING: January 6, 2026</p><p>COMPENSATION: Payband 6 $19.85 to $21.03<br><br>HOURS: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week</p><p>JOB SUMMARY:</p><p>Under the general direction of the Head Custodian the Custodial Aide is responsible for maintaining site safety, sanitation, and</p><p>service in schools and other divisional buildings. The Custodial Aide will work alongside the Head Custodian and Custodian to</p><p>perform general cleaning duties and grounds/building maintenance. This position supports the strategic actions of the Multi-<br><br>Year Strategic Plan.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:</p><p>As the Custodial Aide, you will assist in the general cleaning of school/building – maintains the classroom, hallways, washrooms,</p><p>ancillary spaces, and grounds in a safe and clean conditions</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):</p><ul><li>Completion of Grade 10</li><li>Completion of Respect In School or equivalent training is required.</li><li>Related work experience in cleaning and or maintenance is considered as an asset</li><li>Knowledge of WHMIS, Workplace Safety and Health is preferred</li><li>Ability to operate light cleaning equipment and tools, i.e., vacuum, mops, brooms, duster, etc.</li><li>Ability to understand and follow written and verbal direction</li><li>Ability to work respectfully and effectively in accordance with Divisional policies and guidelines</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Ability to maintain regular attendance</li><li>Respect confidentiality of work</li><li>Ability to read and write in English</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft outlook</li><li>Must be able to communicate in a pleasant, courteous, and effective manner</li></ul><p>CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:</p><ul><li>Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search.</li><li>Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.</li><li>Review and comply with Divisional policies and guidelines.</li><li>Continued employment is subject to maintaining legal eligibility to work in Canada.</li></ul><p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE:</p><ul><li>Apply by using the LRSD online submission process at </li><li>Include in your resume and cover letter your strengths and abilities and clearly define how you meet eligibility for the role.</li><li>Identify the names and contact information of three references.</li><li>Address cover letter and resume to Staff Services, Louis Riel School Division.</li><li>Quote the Bulletin Number on the application; a separate application is required for each job bulletin.</li><li>Upload your resume and cover letter as one document.</li><li>Selection of candidates shall adhere to existing CUPE 4642 collective agreement provisions.</li></ul><p>The Louis Riel School Division is committed to:</p><ul><li>fostering employment equity and accessibility.
