<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>As the General Manager for our large multi-unit site you will lead and direct your team through their daily activities while ensuring a strong safety culture. You will also manage our client contract ensuring we are delivering our world class service and exceeding expectations.</p><h3>Business & Financial Acumen</h3><ul><li>Develop new and emerging business solutions for continuous growth and effective day-to-day operations</li><li>Build and analyze budget / P&L statements</li><li>Achieve financial goals through daily analysis of key KPIs of business operations and monthly business reviews</li><li>Proactive planning of future business growth plans including expansion of scope of services</li></ul><h3>Client Relationships & Contract Management</h3><ul><li>Provide local leadership and strategic direction to build client relationships and new business opportunities to enhance profitability</li><li>Develop a business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs</li><li>Build long-term relationships with client that add value and are based on mutual trust and partnership model</li><li>Ensure contract delivery including commercial and legal terms and conditions of the contract and deliver to the SLA(s) and standards required</li><li>Carry out regular contract performance revisions and internal compliance audits and checks to support the delivery of Goal Zero for the account and Sodexo compliance</li></ul><h3>People</h3><ul><li>Strong employee relations through the ability to manage diverse teams by leading by example</li><li>Ability to build positive union relationships</li><li>Active participant in full HR life cycle (recruitment onboarding training performance rewarding career development etc.)</li><li>Organization planning and monitoring of employee daily activities</li></ul><h3>Culture & Compliance</h3><ul><li>Foster a strong health and safety culture for our employees and our clients and customers</li><li>Encourage diversity and inclusion</li><li>Advocate for corporate social responsibility</li><li>Drive creative innovation</li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and growth in compliance with operating standards</li><li>Embody Sodexos core values : Service Spirit Spirit of Progress and Team Spirit</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>What Youll Need to Succeed :</p><ul><li>5 -7 years of General Manager / Hospitality management experience</li><li>Strong financial and cost control experience</li><li>Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration or equivalent experience</li><li>Proven leadership and line management skills and the ability to build lead and motivate a team</li><li>Able to work on own initiative make effective decisions and also work as part of a team</li><li>A good level of operational and support experience; safety first mindset</li><li>Experience of managing a budget and interpreting financial and key performance indicator information</li><li>Strong organisational skills and ability to react to suit operational support requirements must be able to organise time effectively and prioritise tasks to cope with fluctuating workloads.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management skills</li><li>Competent IT skills including MS office</li><li>Experience in unionized environments</li><li>Bilingual French / English (oral / written) is a strong asset</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><b>What Sodexo Can Offer You :</b></p><ul><li>Flexible work environment</li><li>Competitive compensation & great employee benefits</li><li>Training and development programs</li><li>Countless opportunities for growth</li><li>Corporate responsibility & sustainability</li><li>2021 Canadas Best Diversity Employer</li><li>2021 Canadas Greenest Employers</li><li>2020 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index featured company</li><li>Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Program company Gold Level</li><li>And so much more!</li></ul><p>Sodexo is committed to Employment Equity and Diversity.
