Oakridge is currently recruiting for a Grounds Superintendent for the Brantford/Kitchener/London area. Job Title: Grounds Superintendent<br>Location: Western Ontario (domiciled in Brantford)
Pay: $60, ,000 Annually (based on experience)<ul><li>Benefits after 3 months</li><li>Company-matching RRSP is available after one year</li><li>Company Vehicle.</li></ul>

Job Duties:<br>Grounds Superintendent related to the landscape gardening industry. Our Grounds Superintendent will work to ensure our crews work with the utmost care and efficiency to reflect workmanship. The below is intended only as a general description and should be considered a minimum to fulfill this job role. Job duties are subject to job role additions and changes at any time.<ul><li>Knowledge of site including operation and location of important items (i.e. alarm panels, alarm codes, roof hatches, fire hydrants, utility and electrical rooms, catch basins, water meters).</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC and general construction practice would be considered an asset.</li><li>Able to manage multiple commercial sites throughout the Brantford to London area.</li><li>Able to manage multiple grounds-keeping crews.</li><li>Good understanding of parking lot maintenance and outdoor janitorial jobs.</li><li>Very strong understanding of snow removal practices as well as the ability to manage numerous sites for snow and ice management during winter months.</li><li>Familiarity with a contractual scope of work.</li><li>Proven dedication and motivation.</li><li>Ability to make quick, smart decisions.</li><li>Necessary attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to lift to 50 lbs.</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Excel.</li></ul>

Job Requirements:<ul><li>A degree or diploma in Horticultural Studies; Construction; Landscape; Applied Technology or Construction Management; is an asset.</li><li>Minimum of five (5) experience in a similar role.</li><li>Valid Driver's License.</li><li>Clean Driver's Abstract.</li></ul>
