<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Hire Resolve is assisting mining organizations in hiring experienced mining professionals across Canada. This is a multi-role opportunity spanning several functions within the sector, including mine operations, technical services, mineral processing, maintenance and reliability, projects, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) leadership. These roles are designed for mid- to senior-level professionals and offer a clear pathway toward superintendent, manager, and senior site or regional leadership positions.</p><p></p>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead or support safe, efficient mining and processing operations across surface and/or underground environments </li><li> Promote strong safety performance aligned to Canadian OHS expectations, including hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and contractor safety </li><li> Support compliance with jurisdictional requirements <span >(provincial/territorial</span> or federal, depending on site and employer)</li><li> Improve operational performance through planning, KPI management, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives </li><li> Provide technical input to mine planning and scheduling, drill-and-blast performance, ground <span >control/geotechnical</span> risk, and ventilation strategies (as applicable) </li><li> Optimize plant and process performance (throughput, recovery, quality) through troubleshooting and process improvement (where applicable) </li><li> Oversee maintenance and reliability strategies for mobile and fixed plant equipment, including shutdown planning and asset performance improvement </li><li> Manage contractors and vendors to deliver work safely, on scope, and to schedule and budget </li><li> Support project execution and operational readiness activities, including commissioning support and change management </li><li> Build team capability through coaching, competency development, and structured performance management</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological <span >Engineering/Geology,</span> <span >Mechanical/Electrical</span> Engineering, Metallurgy/Mineral Processing, HSE, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience for certain <span >operations/maintenance</span> leadership roles) </li><li> Typically 5–12+ years of progressive experience in mining, minerals processing, <span >quarrying/aggregates,</span> or heavy industrial environments </li><li> Working knowledge of Canadian workplace safety expectations, including WHMIS (hazard communication), safe work procedures, and incident prevention practices</li><li> Experience in one or more of the following: operations leadership, technical services, mine <span >planning/scheduling,</span> processing optimization, <span >maintenance/reliability,</span> projects, or HSE management systems </li><li> Familiarity with common tools and systems such as CMMS/EAM (e.g., SAP, Maximo), <span >planning/scheduling</span> tools, condition monitoring, and Microsoft Office (Excel; Power BI is an asset) </li><li> Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in site-based environments </li><li> Ability to work on-site and in field conditions; flexibility for rotations, shift schedules, and travel depending on role requirements </li><li> English proficiency required; French is an asset for some roles and locations</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)</li><li>RPP - Group RRSP</li><li>Group Life - AD&D - Critical Illness Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off Benefits</li><li>Training & Development</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
