<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Senior QA Engineer</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>100% - Remote, Canada</p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ Years</p> <p><strong>Role Summary: </strong>NearSource is looking for a QA Engineer to architect and execute automation solutions for a Fortune 500 product company. This role involves ensuring quality and performance across complex, distributed systems by partnering with cross-functional engineering teams and leveraging modern cloud-based technologies.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li>Architect and enhance automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright</li><li>Define and implement end-to-end test strategies aligned with enterprise software development cycles</li><li>Lead integration, regression, and system validation for API-driven and web-based platforms</li><li>Develop robust test automation using Python and Pytest in CI/CD environments</li><li>Administer Jenkins pipelines for continuous quality assurance in deployment workflows</li><li>Manage cloud-based QA infrastructure using AWS services</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution on critical quality issues</li></ul> <p><strong>Must-Have Skills:</strong></p> <ul><li>Proficient in designing automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright</li><li>Strong command of Python with automation experience using Pytest</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in Jenkins pipeline management and CI/CD principles</li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS for QA environment provisioning and test execution</li></ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills:</strong></p> <ul><li>Experience validating .NET-based enterprise applications</li><li>Familiarity with API testing tools and contract-based testing strategies</li><li>ISTQB or AWS certifications are beneficial</li></ul> <p><strong>Certifications:</strong></p> <ul><li>ISTQB or AWS certifications are a plus</li></ul> <p><strong>Apply now, or share your resume with salary expectations at careers@nearsource.ca.</strong> Thank you for considering a career with us!
