<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b></b></p><p><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Picking and Packing all orders that are to be completed and shipped from the shop daily </li><li>Pick products from shelves as per orders, pack, and label parcels for shipment </li><li>Organize, review, and check orders, </li><li>Review receiving shipment documents, input received goods into the system</li><li>Participate in cycle/physical counts & inventory operations as required. </li><li>Receive products from vendors as they are delivered, including the verification of the number of items received as well as assuring that it is the correct product ordered. </li><li>Assemble skids for safe shipment</li><li>Help the production team to organize the floor and inventory, put stock away accordingly. Replenish Shelves. </li><li>Load/unload trucks using pallet truck, check delivery slips and BOL’s to confirm correct product and count </li><li>Request help from licensed team members able to use the forklift to move products & pallets and ensuring products that requires storage are placed in the appropriate areas. </li><li>Wrap/Strap Pallets </li><li>Service customers, receive shipments from suppliers, provide information to delivery drivers </li><li>Cut belts manually using knives/snips. </li><li>Inspect freight for damages and report if any are found </li><li>Organize delivery schedule and instruct delivery drivers accordingly </li><li>Generate delivery slips and BOL’s either electronically or manually </li><li>Book courier, freight, domestic and export shipments online</li><li>Tracking shipments and sending out confirmation of tracking numbers to customers.</li><li> Ensure that the standards are met as it pertains to proper inspection, packaging of products received and shipped </li><li>Work hand in hand with belting technicians’ team to ship product off the belt shop </li><li>Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S </li><li>Keep the dock neat and tidy </li><li>Comply with all company procedures and safety practices </li><li>Attend prescribed courses and training as required </li><li>Other duties as required by the Management. </li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS & REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience in Picking – Packing, Shipping-Receiving using computer system is required </li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal & written </li><li>Proficiency with MS office, internet solutions, computerized systems - software or ERP </li><li>Able to read, write, and must have basic mathematical skills</li><li>Regularly required to stand; walk, for extended periods of time</li><li>Excellent attendance </li><li>Good hand/eye coordination & attention to details</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds </li><li>Able to push/pull up to 35 pounds </li><li>Able to work over-time and weekend shifts if required </li><li>Prior experience with Forklift is an asset </li><li>Must be eligible to work for any employer in Canada.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary & Conditions:</strong></p><p>1. Job Location: Ammega Canada Inc. - 265 Export Blvd, Mississauga, ON</p><p>2. Salary: $21 per hour, depending on profile and experience</p><p>3.
