**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate for a permanent, part-time position. This is a physical, fast-paced, and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for sorting and stocking packages, as well as loading and unloading them into and out of package delivery vehicles and trailers.

**Shift Schedule and Location**

• Work Location: 2900 Steeles Ave W, Concord, ON L4K3S2
• Workdays: Monday to Friday
• Shift Times: Monday (3:00 AM - 8:00 AM) and Tuesday to Friday (4:30 AM - 9:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day (Flexibility is required with both start and finish times)
• Weekly Requirement: All applicants must work a minimum of 25 hours per week

**Responsibilities and Duties**

• Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers.
• Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods.
• Sort and stock packages efficiently based on postal codes.

**Qualifications**

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (35kg).
• Full availability to work Monday to Saturday.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Comfort working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles.
• Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset.

**Compensation and Benefits**

• Starting Pay: $18.50/hour with automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement.
• Top Rate: Potential to reach $36.53/hour after 48 months of service.
• Weekly Pay: Paid every Friday via Direct Deposit.
• Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility, program approval, and satisfactory academic performance).

**Working Conditions and Union Details**

• Environment: This role involves exposure to hot and cold temperatures when working in the warehouse environment and outdoors.
• Union Dues: Approximately $52/month.
• Initiation Fee: A union initiation fee of $50 will be deducted after completing 90 working days.
