<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Education: </strong>A university degree from an accredited institution in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.<br><br></p><p><strong>Experience: </strong>5+ years of relevant experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry<br><br></p><p>A fast-growing, Vaughan-based food company, operating multiple brands across retail, foodservice, and manufacturing throughout the USA and Canada, is currently seeking a <strong>Production Manager</strong> to oversee our production operations, lead a talented team, and ensure we deliver top-quality products on time and within budget. An experienced production leader who will drive efficiency, quality, and growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment is needed to join the team.<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.</li><li>Oversee and manage production budgets using CRM software to enter daily production data, controlling labor, materials, and overhead costs.</li><li>Allocate resources effectively to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and other production staff.</li><li>Maintain adequate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while fostering a culture of safety awareness.</li><li>Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to align production with overall company objectives.</li><li>Prepare and present regular production performance reports to senior management.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven leadership experience managing 50+ team members.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.</li><li>Proficiency in production management systems, CRM software, and related tools.</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.</li><li>Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality control regulations.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Certification in Production Management or Lean Six Sigma is an asset.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong><em>Note:</em></strong><em> Employee may be required to perform other duties as necessary to support the operational needs of the organization.</em></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
